Salman Farooq is the Progressive Conservative Candidate for Pickering-Scarborough East.

Salman came to Canada with $2600 in his pocket and a dream to make a better life for himself and his family.

Salman now owns a successful business which employs 70 people. He and his wife Rabia enjoy volunteering their time to charities and local service organizations. Salman is also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion.

Salman’s greatest enjoyment is playing soccer with his 3 year old son, Hashim, at the West Rouge Soccer Club.
